We at Villa Raffaella recognize that residents have their own individual routines, interests, capabilities, and needs.  Our goal is to preserve and accommodate their individuality.

We begin with an assessment by our Wellness Director.  Working in partnership with the residents, their families, and physicians, we determine the level of service and assistance they require or prefer.  We know that many residents are capable of meeting some of their own needs, and that families often want to remain involved in care giving.  The assessment helps everyone involved determine what roles the residents, their families, and Villa Raffaella will play in making sure that needs are met.  The level of service that we provide is based on the resident’s preference and a philosophy of promoting independence.
